Chris Alexander is a lifelong cineaste and experimental music composer, obsessed with eccentric horror movies, weird romance, arcane sexuality and spacey, strange sounds. Former critic and columnist for noted horror entertainment periodical RUE MORGUE. Currently writing for FANGORIA magazine in NYC. Freelance writer for WIRED, DARK SIDE, NEO, THE TORONTO STAR and on air film critic on radio station AM 640 TORONTO's The John Oakley Show. Taught horror film theory at Sheridan College, Oakville. Currently teaching film history and theory at The Toronto Media and Film College. Composed and performed scores for cult zombie western film THE STINK OF FLESH and AM I EVIL. Have released 5 self produced albums on the MERIDIAN MUSIC imprint. Current album is the self produced MUSIC FOR PARASITES. Won the 2004 CREEPFEST award for best album, BLOOD OF DJANGO. Only Canadian critic chosen to box noted "bad filmmaker" Uwe Boll in "Raging Boll" event in Vancouver, September 2006.

Chris Alexander lives in Toronto, Canada with his wife (the vocalist Carrie Eliza) and their son.
